Biography
Mikko started his music career back in the late 80s making tunes with the legendary home computer Commodore 64. 15 years later, after a successful artist career as Alkalyne (BMG), as a member of Firevision (Virgin) and The Conquistadors (Elements Music) and as an underground hip-hop artist, Mikko went on to production/mixing, writing music for TV / film and songwriting. Mikko is a versatile track-writer/producer with a great ear for melody, drawing influences from disco, 1990’s dance music and 1980’s pop and post punk. During the past few years has Mikko done hundreds of co-writes all around Europe and is continuously pushing himself further as Finland’s #1 music export and as one of Europe’s hottest writers. In addition to songwriting, Mikko has coached upcoming writers at the Sibelius Academy, one of Europe’s biggest music universities, and at Popakademie Baden-Württemberg in Germany. 2012 Mikko re-started his hiphop artist career and has scored major radio hits as Setä Tamu & with Yön Polte.
